▋Heat Treatment
At Orient Grand, we provide comprehensive, in-house heat treatment services to optimize the mechanical properties, hardness, and durability of our cast components. Our advanced facilities and precise process control ensure that every part meets strict international standards and client specifications.
Solid Solution Treatment | Enhances corrosion resistance and ductility, typically utilized for stainless steel and specific alloys. |
Quenching & Tempering (QT) | A two-stage thermal process that optimizes the balance between high strength, hardness, and excellent toughness. |
Quenching | Rapidly cools the material to significantly increase surface hardness and wear resistance. |
Normalizing | Refines the grain structure of the metal, improving uniformity, machinability, and structural stability. |
Annealing | Softens the metal to reduce internal stresses, improve ductility, and eliminate cold-work hardening. |
Precipitation Hardening | Increases the yield strength of malleable materials, commonly applied to specific stainless steels and high-strength alloys. |
Carburization | Introduces carbon into the surface layer of low-carbon steel components to achieve a hard, wear-resistant case while maintaining a tough core. |
Nitriding | Diffuses nitrogen into the metal surface to produce high surface hardness, superior wear resistance, and enhanced fatigue life. |
T6 for Aluminium Alloys | A specialized solution treatment followed by artificial aging to maximize the tensile strength and hardness of aluminum castings. |
